Legendary record

In the late 1980s, New York's Helmet sent a shock wave through heavy metal country. Instead of long-haired, drugged-up, and black-clad, the band members looked sleek and clean - yet believable. A thinking person's heavy metal.

After re-releasing their legendary album 'Betty' from 30 years ago, they are on tour. Experience the full album and all the energy that goes with it.

About Helmet

Helmet combined post-punk à la Sonic Youth and Killing Joke with sharp grooves, rhythms and harmonies typical of jazz. Controlled aggression and intelligent noise is their trademark.

Murder records like "Strap It On", "Meantime", "Betty" and "Aftertaste" are part of the collective metal and post-hardcore memory. From 1998 to 2004 the band split up, since then they have been releasing new records and playing strong concerts again.
