"Een buitengewone plaat die in geen enkel hokje thuishoort. Met de oogverblindende en briljante Hongaarse zangeres Veronika Harcsa, tot buitengewone vocale acrobatiek in staat." JazzHalo
For his new song cycle, Belgian pride Kris Defoort once again joins forces with Hungarian singer Veronika Harcsa, one of the most beautiful and clear voices. Good for melancholic and sparkling musical reflections on poems by Peter Verhelst, Roethke and Pessoa, among others.
With Lode Vercampt on cello, Jean-Philippe Poncin on clarinets and Benjamin Sauzereau on guitar, three inspired musicians join the duo. Good for colorful music where improvised compositions mingle with composed improvisations, and the human voice presents itself in all its facets.
