Since her breakthrough in 1999 with "On How Life Is" and the accompanying earworm "I Try," her voice has gone around the world. It rained Grammy nominations and awards, resulting in years of fascinating collaborations with everyone from Santana, Natalie Cole and Justin Timberlake to Ariana Grande and Bobby Brown. Now she comes to Ghent.

On her album "The Reset" (2023) she continues to experiment with her sound, combining nostalgic soul with modern influences. She recently released the single "I AM", an energetic duet with Big Freedia that celebrates positivity and self-acceptance.
