Between electronica and opera pop

Meet the triumvirate of Belgian theater director and countertenor Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe, Icelandic producer and composer Valgeir Sigurdsson (Björk, Feist, Damon Albarn, Bedroom Community) and violinist Elisabeth Klinck (Miet Warlop's "One Song").

They traveled to Iceland in search of the melting point between electronica and contemporary classical music. Get to know their album "Isabelle Lewis", which will be released in fall '24 on the renowned label Bedroom Community.

Who's Isabelle Lewis

Isabelle Lewis is a fictional character who embodies their collective musical spirit - a nostalgic shapeshifter with three faces. The result is an alienating pop full of classical influences, spherical melancholy and an operatic pulse. An absolute must-see.

A co-production with the Northern Norwegian cultural festival Festspillene i Nord-Norge (Harstad), where Valgeir Sigurðsson is an associate artist in 2023, the Northern Norwegian classical festival Nordlysfestivalen (Tromsø) and C-mine.
